Russ Wanke, Vice President & General Manager
With 25 years of paper industry experience, Russ joined Thilmany in 2008. He developed his paper industry expertise through several leadership roles in fine, printing and specialty papers. Russ holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Paper Science and Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. As an active member of the community, Russ serves on the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point College of Natural Resources Advisory Board and the Wisconsin Paper Council Executive Committee. Russ also serves on the American Forest and Paper Association board of directors.
Ann Funk, Vice President – Procurement
Ann brings a diverse background into her role as the leader of procurement. Since rejoining Thilmany in 1997, Ann has held leadership roles in sales, marketing and supply chain in addition to her current procurement role. Ann formerly held positions in the sales and supply chain areas as a customer of Thilmany. With Ann’s experience and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, she is an invaluable part of the leadership at Thilmany.
Jodie Altobelli, Vice President – Supply Chain
Jodie brings a wealth of experience to the leadership team after almost 30 years in the paper industry. Her experience ranges from IT to logistics to customer service. Jodie also provides a valuable customer perspective from consulting experience within the industry. Jodie is a Bachelor of Business Administration graduate of Northern Michigan University as well as an alumnus of Cardinal Stritch College’s Master of Business Administration program.
Robyn Buss, Vice President – Sales and Marketing
Robyn began her career in the field of accounting, but quickly found her love of people pulling her to sales. Since 1993, Robyn has been serving Thilmany in various sales and marketing leadership roles. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. In her free time, Robyn can be found cheering on her children in various sports.
Dave Brown, Controller
Dave started his career in the paper industry. And in his 18 years prior to coming to Thilmany, he gained experience in several industrial and paper companies. He has been serving Thilmany as the Controller since July 2007. Dave is a graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
Lee Hammen, Nicolet Mill Manager
Lee began his career in 1996 as a Process Engineer for Thilmany after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Paper Science and Engineering. After holding several manufacturing positions, Lee is now the Nicolet Mill Manager. He can also be found enthusiastically coaching YMCA youth flag football in the fall or youth basketball in the spring.
Steve Myers, Kaukauna Mill Manager
Steve joined Thilmany Papers in 2009 and serves as the Kaukauna Mill Manager. Steve has a wealth of experience in the paper industry including engineering, chemicals, sheeting and paper mill operations management. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Paper Science, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Western Michigan University and a Master of Science degree in Paper Science from the Institute of Paper Science & Technology as well as an Executive MBA from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
Rick Counihan, HR Director
Rick joined Thilmany in 1985 as a manufacturing employee at the Nicolet Mill. He moved into a Training Coordinator position two years later and has served in numerous Human Resources roles since. Rick is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Processes.
